the hotel is next to the station, but they evidently expect me to cross my legs when there’s no desk in the room, how absurd! Plus, their fast food restaurant closes at 9:30, just when a person might want a late meal. i expect better as a guest, but i couldn’t leave a good review, just couldn’t.

I had a decent stay at La'Gent Plaza. The rooms were spacious and well-cleaned. It's right next to the Shin-Hakodate station, which was super convenient for getting around. Just be warned, the breakfast is pretty basic, so I’d suggest grabbing something nearby instead.

I loved the convenient location right next to the Shin-Hakodate Hokuto Station, making it super easy to catch the bullet train.
